Clear guidance for a family’s immigration journey: Shail’s story

Shail

November 4, 2026

I came to Canada as an international student in 2019, and like many people, my goal was to become a permanent resident one day. Over the years, I spoke with a few immigration consultants, but I was never satisfied. Most of the time, I left feeling more confused than before because I was given too much information without a clear direction. I moved to Yukon in April 2024, and in June I booked my first appointment with Julie. At that time, my work permit was going to expire in February 2025, so I needed someone who could honestly guide me through my options. From our first meeting, I noticed the difference. Julie explained my options in a simple and straightforward way. She didn't try to confuse me with unnecessary details or make promises she couldn't keep. She simply explained what was possible and what would be the best path for my situation. That gave me confidence, and I decided to hire her. Julie helped me apply for my work permit and also handled my wife's work permit application. My wife had already received a few refusals with previous representatives, so we were naturally worried. Julie made sure everything was prepared properly and always asked us to gather documents well in advance. She was very organized, and every application was prepared carefully. She also worked directly with my employer during the Yukon Nominee Program process. She communicated clearly, knew exactly what documents were needed, and made the process easy for both me and my employer. I received my Yukon Nominee Program approval in about six months, and my Express Entry permanent residence application was approved in just four months after that. Everything moved smoothly, and I truly believe her attention to detail played a big role in that. One thing I appreciated the most was that she was always available whenever I had questions. Immigration can be stressful, but knowing that I could reach out and get a clear answer gave me a lot of peace of mind throughout the process. Her fees may be a little higher than some other consultants, but for me, it was completely worth it. When your future is involved, having someone experienced, honest, and organized is far more important than choosing the cheapest option. I genuinely recommend Julie to anyone who is struggling with their immigration process or simply wants someone they can trust. Looking back, hiring her was one of the best decisions I made for my family's immigration journey.
