I had been living in Canada for several years and thought many things were working in my favour. Once I submitted my Express Entry profile and compared my score with recent draws, I began to worry about whether I would receive an invitation to apply. That was when I reached out to YXY.
As I learned more about the process, I worried about making mistakes in my application. Some requirements felt unclear, and I was not always sure whether I had presented my information in the way it needed to be presented. YXY helped me understand the details and prepare my application more carefully.
My advice to someone beginning this journey is to prepare mentally and financially for a process that may be long and complicated. Working with a consultant helped me manage that, even though the uncertainty was still difficult.
Prepare documents as early as you can. There may be long periods of waiting followed by a short deadline to provide something specific. Ask questions and get professional guidance when you need it.
I am very grateful for the people who supported me along the way. The sense of community I have found in Canada is what makes it feel like home. I am happy to be building my life here.
